![]() Hayes was an advertising salesman for the Wellington Enterprise, Oberlin News-Tribune, and Amherst News-Times. Following the service, he returned home to Ohio and began his career as an accountant working for several local manufacturing businesses, including Abex Corp., LaGrange Screw Products, and Wellington Gear & Screw Products, of which he was a founder and chief financial officer. A 1960 graduate of Wellington High School, Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lucille (Puder) Hayes his sister Sandra (Hayes) Bidlake and brother-in-law Gail Bidlake. Hayes is also survived by his son, Bradley (Nicole), and grandson, Henry, of Wellington stepdaughter, Paula Marett of Cincinnati sister JoAnn Hayes of Cleveland and numerous nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Pauline (Denger) Hayes. Hayes, 81, of Wellington died March 17, 2023, after an extended illness.
